Meteorites are chunks of dirt and rock in the upper atmosphere of a planet. As such they resemble the Asteroid Field Biome. Meteorites can be reached by building upwards or by use of the Gravity Neutraliser tech. Meteorite can occasionally fall from the sky and shatter on the ground scattering Meteorite Rock in a localized area and crater the ground near the landing site.

Meteorites often have extremely low temperatures, requiring heavy insulation or several sources of warmth to explore effectively.
