The 2-stop Teleshop, where players can buy/craft teleporters.
The teleporter is a transportation device in Starbound. A player can use teleporters for quick access to important locations.
Various teleporters can be purchased from the 2-Stop Teleshop, found in the Outpost. All teleporters cost 3,000 Pixels and one Teleporter Core. If you do not have a core, one can be purchased from the shop for 15 Diamonds.
On the first use of a teleporter, you are asked to name it. The name will be used when teleporting to it from another teleporter. It can be renamed at any time by activating any other teleporter and clicking the pencil icon next to the bookmark that you wish to rename. You can also bookmark the teleporter at the 2-Stop Teleshop. Its default name is "Outpost."
After naming a teleporter, it can be used to transport the character to any other teleporter (including the Ship's teleporter, 2-Stop Teleshop, and The Ark), or any bookmarked Flags. Teleporters are useful for quick access to all your teleporter or flag bookmarks, like important planets (such as a storage base or large-scale construction planet), when you need to transport items, or just plain forgot something in your travels.
An extremely important note (mentioned in each of the teleporters' descriptions) is that teleporters are destroyed when you break them. You will, however, receive the Teleporter Core back. This means you should choose very carefully where you are putting your teleporters, or you will end up returning to buy a new one, wasting 3,000 Pixels each time.
