Weather is an occurence that changes from planet to planet. Some biomes only get specific weather effects while others get multiple.
Acid Rain (Green instead of white like normal rain)
Known Weather Effects
| Name | Effect |
|---|---|
| Rain | Rain puts small amounts of water on the planets surface. Rain will collect over time, and may cause flooding (like real life). There is a difference in colour of pre-existing water and collected rain. |
| Snow | No known effect. |
| Acid Rain | Damages only players, NPCs and blocks are completely unaffected, even if the blocks are metal. Looks like rain except it is greenish. |
| Hail | Damages only players like Acid Rain. |
|
Stardust |
Bright multicolored dust that lights up a small area around it for a brief time. |
| Sandstorm | Small specks of dust start flying and large sand clouds form. You start taking damage if you are exposed to it too long. Only found on desert planets. |
| Ground Mist | A layer of mist that flows close to the ground. |
| Wind Storm | A fast blowing wind storm that is filled with leaves and rubbish. Can damage player and leave blocks of gravel around both in the forground and background. |
| Embers | Embers fall from the sky and set the ground on fire and burns wooden structures down. Damages player when walking/standing on the burning spots. |
| Space Junk | Falling debris from space such as satalites and shrapnel damage both the player and mobs causing tiny explosions upon inpact. |
|

Notes
- Rain has been proven to slowly neutralize acid puddles after a while.
Wind Storm.
- There is no known way to protect against acid rain other than either getting under cover, or using bandages to add a regeneration effect to counteract the damage caused be staying in acid rain.
- Sand clouds from a sand storm will pass through blocks unless you are close to them. Sandstorms also last forever, as they just switch direction from time to time.
Sandstorm
- Strangely, acid rain does not damage NPCs - even if they are organic. This is most likely because NPC merchants sometimes spawn with a camp fire and a wheelbarrow, they have no shelter to take cover in when acid rain comes, in addition to the fact it is unlikely the NPCs will seek cover when taking damage. It is possible that acid rain discriminates between hostile and non-hostile NPCs in the future, but this is unknown.
